What happens with those who govern, in one place

MeuBr gathers what official bodies publish and shows it in a way you can understand, starting from your state and your city.

Representatives

Who holds office today, from the Presidency to your state's deputies, with the length of each term.

Current term
From when to when, and how much of it has passed. Open data from the Chamber of Deputies and the Federal Senate.
Attendance
How many Chamber sessions the person attended, out of the total. Not a grade: it's the count the Chamber itself publishes.
Assets over time
Assets declared at each election, side by side, adjusted for inflation.
Campaign money
How much came in, where from and what it was spent on, from the accounts filed with the TSE.

Congress votes

Floor votes in the Chamber and the Senate, on the day they happen.

Live
Open sessions and votes in progress, checked every 2 minutes.
Result and tally
Passed or rejected, with the tally the chamber itself publishes.
Phone alerts
If you want, the app lets you know when a vote starts and when the result is out.

Brazil in numbers

The indicators that hit your pocket, with the source and date of each figure.

Unemployment
The unemployment rate from IBGE's PNAD Contínua.
Inflation
IBGE's IPCA, next to the target.
Interest rates
The Selic rate set by the Central Bank's Copom.
GDP and public accounts
IBGE's GDP and the federal government's accounts, from the National Treasury.

Updates

What changed, without you having to look for it.

New votes
Every substantive floor vote goes into the Updates tab.
Candidate changes
Withdrawals, rejections and replacements, straight from the TSE registry.
Notifications by topic
You choose what to receive. Subscribing takes no name or email.

The app doesn't grade, rank or recommend anyone. It shows the data and says where it came from.

At election time, the cheat sheet

In election years, MeuBr builds the cheat sheet with your state's candidates, in the order the voting machine asks.

  1. Choose your stateOffices appear in the order the voting machine asks.
  2. Pick your candidatesSee who each one is, with official data: candidacy status, party and declared assets.
  3. Print it and take itThe paper cheat sheet goes with you into the booth.
  4. After you voteThe list does not end at the ballot box. It remembers who you picked, and starts showing what that person does in office.

Phones aren't allowed in the voting booth (Law 9.504/97, art. 91-A). A paper cheat sheet is, so you won't forget a single number.

Where the data comes from, and how to correct it

Every screen says which source the data came from and when it was collected. All of them are public and official.

Superior Electoral Court (TSE)
Candidacies, elected officials, declared assets and campaign accounts.
Chamber of Deputies
Sitting deputies, attendance, sessions and votes.
Federal Senate
Sitting senators, sessions and votes.
IBGE
Unemployment, inflation (IPCA) and GDP.
Central Bank
The Selic rate and the indicator series it publishes.
National Treasury
Federal government revenue, spending and balance.

Frequently asked questions

Write to [email protected]. If the app is showing something different from the TSE record, that is our defect and we fix it. If it matches the TSE and the record itself is wrong, only the TSE and the candidate can change it, and we will show you where to go.

We reply within 5 business days.

We do get things wrong. When the app shows something different from what the TSE publishes, we check against the original file we kept from that collection and the fix goes into the next data update. What we do not do is delete quietly: the TSE record stays there for anyone to compare.

We keep the original file from every collection, exactly as the TSE published it. That is what lets anyone check that the app changed nothing.

We give no scores, no rankings, no recommendations and no polls. When the Electoral Court rejects or revokes a registration, the app repeats the wording the TSE itself publishes, with the case number beside it.

There are no ads, and no campaign money.

There are no ads, no sponsored slots and no advertising of any kind. There is no place in the app where an ad would fit.

No candidate, party, campaign or committee pays MeuBr anything, and there is no way to: we do not sell prominence, list position or mentions. Names appear in the order the voting machine asks for them, and alphabetically within each office.

The app has no sign-up, does not track you and never sends your list anywhere · so there is no data of yours to sell either. The costs are hosting and the domain, paid by whoever makes it.

MeuBr is an independent app. It has no ties to the Superior Electoral Court, to any party, campaign or candidacy.
